The world’s biggest gold-plated copy of the Holy Quran is being prepared, stated artist and calligrapher Shahid Rassam.
Speaking at a press convention at the Karachi Press Club alongside author Anwar Maqsood on the sector’s biggest gold-plated reproduction of the Holy Quran, calligrapher Shahid Rassam said that the pages of this reproduction are two meters lengthy and a pair of.6 meters huge.
The words were engraved on aluminium and plated with gold. It took two years to finish two pages. The assignment is well worth approximately $35 million. The 550-web page model will take some other and a half years to finish.
Shahid Rassam appealed to the authorities of Pakistan, Sindh government and foundations for help and stated that their help would make this mission less complicated. Anwar Maqsood said that the authorities should assist in finishing this assignment. Space is required to set up a museum for show.
